편의를 제공하는 대상이면서도
예술이기도 하고, 감정의 농축이기도 하다.
내가 작업한 감정들의 모든 작품들이 사람들로 하여금 응시하고
감응하는 것에만 머무르기를 원치 않는다.
그 모든 예술이 안팎과 전후를 둘러싸고 길게 늘어선 행렬처럼,
북적거리는 적당히 들뜬 사람들의 수줍은 환호처럼
한 편의 서사시를 써 내려가길 원한다.”
